Legendary club, Studio 54, set to reopen.

Studio 54 opened in 1977 and hosted legendary muscians and attendees. From Andy Warhol, Franky knuckles, to Grace Jones. The club cemented its role permentantly in youth and dance culture history.

For only one night, the brand Valentino Beauty is reopening the famous New York venue on September 10th. The space has never been reopened in the last 43 years. In a cryptic post by the brand regarding invites being sent to attendees for “a secret rendezvous”. The guestlist is set to incluse a range of creatives, artists and "original patrons" of the club. Valentino Beauty is celebrating the launch of its Born in Roma Rendez-Vous ivory cosmetics line.

Studio 54 closed in 1980 as authorities decided to revoke their alcohol license. Owners were accused of drug use and tax evasion, with charges brought again the owners Rubell and Schrager.
